8th Workshop on Nanocarbon Photonics and Optoelectronics (NPO2022 ) will be held at the Holiday Centre Huhmari, Polvijärvi, Finland, 31 July – 5 August 2022. NPO2022 will be devoted to latest advances in carbon nanotubes, graphene and other reduced-dimensionality materials for photonic and optoelectronic applications. The Workshop aims at young researchers who will be able to establish direct contacts with leading scientists working in the fields of nonlinear optics, lasing, energy conversion, solid-state lighting, sensing, and quantum technology. We expect that the Workshop will attract about one hundred scientists from around the globe.
Scope
The NPO2022 is the neinth Workshop in a series of meetings aiming at the latest achievements in fundamental science and applications of nanocarbon materials. The Workshop will be focused on photonics and optoelectronics of graphene and other two-dimensional materials, carbon nanotubes and nanodiamonds. The subjects included are the following:
- Photonics and optoelectronics with graphene and carbon nanotubes
- Nonlinear optical phenomena in graphene and 2D materials beyond graphene
- 2D materials lasing
- Magnetometry and quantum information processing with diamond color centers
- Synthesis and characterization of graphene and 2D materials beyond graphene
